where a comprehensive Health & Safety programme is
in place.
Business Continuity
The provision of a Business Continuity (or Disaster) Plan – full
assessment, planning and testing if required. Insurers
may discount premiums where a Business Continuity Plan
is in place.
Asbestos Surveys and Registers
The Control of Asbestos Regulations introduced in recent
years oblige all commercial occupants to determine whether
asbestos is present in any form within their building
and produce a Register and plan. The Regulations do not
insist on any asbestos being removed if it can be managed
safely.
Fleet Risk Management
The introduction of a fleet risk management programme can
lead to significant reductions in incidents leading to
an improvement in claims experience and reductions in
premium.
Buildings sum insured evaluations
Where doubt exists in relation to the adequacy of a commercial
or residential buildings rebuild sum insured a cost effective
survey can be arranged. Avoidance of under-insurance
