Chauffeurplan's unique range of benefits, not available elsewhere, include:
Disqualification Cover*
With increasing use of speed cameras and stricter penalties enforced by the courts, even careful drivers risk totting up points.
Chauffeurplan provides up to £300 a week - that's £15,600 a year - to pay for taxis, trains, flights or even a driver. Whatever it takes to get you from A to B until you can drive again.
Personal Injury Cover* (7 day excess)
A minor injury might not stop you working but how would you get around?
If you suffer any kind of injury - at home, at work, driving, playing sport - Chauffeurplan provides the same great benefits, up to £300 a week to cover your travel costs until you can drive again.
Car Hire Cover* (2 day excess)
Chauffeurplan provides car hire cover for up to 28 days if your car is stolen, vandalised or needs repairs following an accident.
Emergency Travel and Accommodation costs
Up to £1200 to pay for hotels or transport home if you or your family are stranded after a motor accident, anywhere in Europe.
Eligibility for Chauffeurplan cover?
Applicants must be aged 21 or over and hold and have held a current, valid, full UK driving licence for a period of at least 2 years.
In order to be covered for 'totting-up' disqualification benefits you must have no more than 7 points on your licence, actual, possible and/or pending, when you apply. However, when the penalty points are down to 7 points or lower with no prosecutions possible or pending you will then automatically be covered against disqualification following the totting up of future points.
